Villefranche sur Mer or French Village by the Sea, is a beautiful Fortified town that is right next door to Nice.

Yesterday, I took a bike over there, which was NOT easy, but definitely enjoyable. Like all places in the Mediterranean, it's has quaint "Old Cities" within the town, which I didn't get a chance to see because I didn't want to lug the bike around.

I ended up spending the entire afternoon relaxing on the beach and getting a glorious tan. One of the differences between the beaches in Villefranche and Nice is that Villefranche actually has SAND beaches!

I definitely plan on going back to take a look around the town, and get a feel for it.
