This is my first time over seas. I've been out of the United States to visit Canada and the Camen Islands, but I never really considered those trips to be leaving the country... Canada is just Canada, it's only a few hours drive away from my house, and the Camen trip was for business; in and out like a hit and run.

This really is my first trip to another country, thousands of miles away, on another continent.

I'm off to visit my boyfriend living in Nice, France. It's been about 2.5 months since I've seen him. We've been chatting every day online and "hanging out" on webcam while we are both working our daily jobs.

It's going to be a long trip, and I'm hoping to sleep most of the time. I've been working nearly 20 hours each day for the last 3 or 4 weeks just to make sure I finish all my work before this trip. This is my first vacation since 1998 when I took 16 days in Hawaii with Frank.
