So I did it, I finished my first academic year at the university! And I can say that I think it was a huge success! I remember when I first got here, I thought the university system was antiquated, poorly run and overly complicated. And it still is. However, after spending a few months there, and learning the tricks of the trade, I realized to take the Mediterranean attitude, and just "laisse-tomber" ie: let things happen at their own pace.
Now that exams are virtually over with ( I have make-ups at the end of May, beginning of July), I'll be spending most of my time working for ATC, reading, and just kinda relaxing.
I think today I'm going to take a long bike ride to the next town over, Villefranche, just to to do something, and say I was productive during the day.
I do know that come June, I'll have to start apartment hunting, and all that fun stuff. But it shouldn't be too hard to manage :)
