Well first weekend back to Nice and definitely had a blast. It is the end of Carnivale season and to celebrate, me and Team Foreigner (ie. the other English teachers) went to the Bataille de Fleurs (Flower Battle) aka a Parade. It was fun, seeing as we were celebrating Erica's birthday. basically during the parade, various floats went around throwing different types of flowers. The "battle" per se was trying to collect as many flowers as possible which Team Foreigner was able to get a significant amount, so go us!
We ended up the day at Gerogia's/Rosy's to sit around, drink and talk celebrating Erica's birthday. I left at about 8 o clock because I had a friend from Italy coming over around midnight to go out clubbing. So i wanted to make sure i was home with enough time to recuperate, rest up and get ready for a wild night.
And a wild night it was. Went out to the club behind my apartment, stayed out till six, woke up at 2 and hae been relaxing in the apartment all day. yay for lazy sundays.
And that catching flowers thing... sounds sooo silly.
Oh, and I already said it, but here I go again... Happy b-day Erica.
