So I spent another weekend in Italy! Had a wonderful time with Marco and Matteo (two Italian guys that I met in Nice a couple weeks ago).
It was really great seeing another country and seeing how two countries that are located next to each other can function so differenlty! I spent Sunday in Arma di Taggia and San Remo, two towns remotely different from Nice, and from one another. First of all, in Arma di Taggia, malls, are open...ON SUNDAYS!
Also, in supermarkets, the cashiers...BAG YOUR THINGS FOR YOU! GAh! i've been in France for too long to consider these two things odd lol.
Aside form seeing those differences, Sunday Marco, his friend and I went to this chocolate bar type place, where we had hot chocolate. When I say hot chocolate, it wasn't some Nestle crap, no, it was like drinking liquid chocolate, it was sooo decadant.
Ah, I am so happy I'm learning Italian this week!
