So another Thanksgiving has come and gone, but what makes this year different than most is several things. For one, it's another Thanksgiving away from home. The last one I did was when i was in Guadeloupe, and that was miserable. This year around however, I am happy to report, was a terrific Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving day proper, Matt and I were invited to Erica's professor's house. We each brought a dish or two so that we weren't the rude guests. I of course, made the apple pie again, and it was a huge succes. It was lauded as one of the best applie pies some people have ever had.
Overall it was a great night, with fun, food and great conversation. It was nice to spend it with Matt and new friends, so that i wasn't alone. It wasn't like a normal thanksgiving, that much is for sure, but itwasn't better or worse, itw as just different. Just as different as my second Thanksgiving, which, loyal readers, will come later.
