Success!!!! I made an apple pie; a good apple pie no less! This week I will be making about six pies, so I wanted to make sure I had the appropriate amount of practice so I didn't show up to any of the events with crap food. So when I came to the uni yesterday to pick up an exam I had to correct, I asked the group that was here whether or not I could possibly borrow an oven for the night in order to get some practice in.

Well, they all jumped at the opportunity. It was various "oh I live closer." Well mine is prettier, oh use my oven, use mine. So I told them, guys, you can all come over to whoever's house for the pie, I just need to bake it.

So after deciding whose house I was going to use, I went shopping that night for all the ingrediants, or so I thought. I managed to go to the store three different times either because I forgot ingrediants, or needed to substitute. Nevertheless, after an hour of prep work, an hour of baking, and an hour of cooling, the pie was devoured, with people fighting over licking the bottom of the pie pan! GO JAMIE!
