Well all, this is my last journal entry from my vacation at the end of last month and beginning of this month. Hope you've enjoyed!
Well, I'm on my way back to the airport, in the taxi. All I can say is that Berlin is a blast! It's got some very nice parts that are beauitufl, and other parts with a lot of grafiti.
Yesterday was a really nice day. We went to the Palace of Francis the Great, a King from the Prussian Empire. the palace wasn't nearly as grand or luxorious as the French Palaces, but it was nice to see. Afterwards, we walked along the river and the courtyard of the palace. It was very pretty pretty, but very cold - I imagine that it has great potential to be beautiful in the winter as well. If one doens't mind the cold.
After the palace, we went to the Chelsea and East village part of Berlin where we had a couple of drinks at this wonderful little cafe. Following the cafe was dinner at a place calld November. I had the shnitzel which was a crusted pork. The dinner was very delicious and filling, which was good because nap time had arrived. After a brief nap, we went to this really fun party where I met a guy from Minnesota, whose school was used to film the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous!!!
I also met antoher guy from Paris who was a total sweetheart. At abotu 6am we left and ate curry dog, went home and passed out. Now i'm heading back to warm, sunny Nice.
