Happy Halloween! It's my first Halloween since I can remember where I'm not doing something Halloween related. Matt, Doug and I just got back from the farmer's market around the corner and it was sooo nice. All sorts of goods! Crafts, foods, wines etc. There is a little market in Nice, but it's only on Sundays until noon, and I'm not usually up until then. But I tihnk I may start going.
But anyway, yesterday we had a nice day! We saw a chunk of the Berlin Wall, ther German parliament (the Reichstag), a memorial for dead European Jews, which was surprisingly very intereseting. After all that we had a very ncie lunch which was very nicely priced.
So Far Berlin is a quaint city with pleanty to do, and for a European capital, it isn't expensive at all, at least compared to Nice.
